Girls Planet 999 is based on the themes and aesthetics of space where each of the three groups (Korea, China, Japan) represents a 'Planet'. In addition to the three 'Planets', there will be a 'Master Council' made up of the 'K-pop Masters' who's role is to mentor the 99 girls, four vocal and dance 'K-pop Masters' in total will teach and guide the contestants' vocal, rap and dance skills, and lastly the 'Planet Master' who is the MC with the role of connecting the viewers with the show. Outside of the 'Master Council' are the fans and audience who will be known as the 'Planet Guardians' and have the role of determining the ranks of each contestant, and ultimately determine the outcome of Girls Planet 999. Finally, the mobile app and web platform 'UNIVERSE' will connect the contestants and the 'Planet Guardians' via voting.Which these winners debuted as Kep1er! Kep1er (케플러) (also stylized as Kepler) is a 9 member K-pop project girl group formed through the Mnet survival show Girls Planet 999. The group consists of Yujin, Mashiro, Xiaoting, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Youngeun, and Yeseo. The final lineup was announced on October 22, 2021, during the final episode of Girls Planet 999. The group is managed by WAKEONE Entertainment and Swing Entertainment.
