On big servers with a lot of people it is all too often a situation that people want information and dont look at pinned messages or chat history, so they ask about it, even though its been asked 30 times in the past few hours. lol It would be so amazing if we could take a pinned message(just one) and make a banner at the top of the channel displaying that text, and even more so if we could choose to color it(even if the only option is red). As great as pinned messages are, they are often ignored completely. This would really help convey important pins and make them more visible.
